We believe that the $10 trillion agricultural financing gap in emerging markets represents one of the most significant untapped opportunities at the intersection of decentralized finance and the real economy. Millions of agricultural producers across Southeast Asia lack access to affordable, timely capital — not because they are unbankable, but because traditional financial infrastructure was never designed to reach them.

Aurora Protocol is a decentralized real-world asset (RWA) financing platform built on Ethereum. It connects global DeFi capital directly with agricultural producers through smart-contract-governed batch financing, fractional participation tokens, and a transparent escrow lifecycle — removing intermediaries, reducing cost, and unlocking yield backed by tangible, productive assets.

Every batch on Aurora represents a real agricultural financing operation: verifiable producers, defined milestones, and deterministic fund flows enforced on-chain. Participants purchase ERC-1155 fractional tokens to fund specific batches, and returns are distributed through a burn-to-claim mechanism upon successful completion.

Aurora Protocol is not a lending protocol, a yield aggregator, or a speculative instrument. It is infrastructure for a new class of on-chain real-world asset — one grounded in the economics of food production, supply chain logistics, and emerging market growth.

## Core Principles

**Transparency by Default** — All fund flows, state transitions, and milestone events are recorded on-chain and visible to all participants.

**Real Assets, Real Yield** — Returns are generated from actual agricultural financing operations, not token emissions or reflexive incentive loops.

**Deterministic Execution** — Smart contracts enforce batch lifecycles with no manual override. Funds move only when predefined conditions are met.

**Permissionless Participation** — Anyone with a Web3 wallet can participate in batch financing, regardless of geography or institutional affiliation.

**Risk Isolation** — Each batch is an independent economic unit. Performance of one batch does not affect another.

## How It Works — In Brief

1. **Batch Creation** — An agricultural originator submits a financing request. Aurora Labs verifies the underlying operation and deploys a new batch via the BatchFactory contract.
2. **Primary Sale** — DeFi participants purchase ERC-1155 fractional RWA tokens representing their share of the batch. All funds flow into a dedicated EscrowVault.
3. **Milestone Execution** — Funds are released to the originator in stages as real-world milestones (planting, growth, harvest) are verified and confirmed on-chain.
4. **Returns Distribution** — Upon batch completion, returns are deposited into the ClaimVault. Token holders burn their RWA tokens to claim their proportional share.
